What happens when Werner Herzog and David Lynch make a movie together? Come and have a seat with us on the ol leather couch and find out as we watch My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done.
In Seen It, we examine another redeemable A-hole, the genius of Steve Martin and Matt and Craig reminisce about their theatrical careers. We also remember Roger Ebert.
I’m sure you’ve seen it already but, if not, I left you this little treat of Mr. Shannon.

Hey guys, love the show, you guys are my two of my favorite movie reviwers, and I can’t wait to watch all of these movies that nobody has ever heard of. Anyway, I was wondering if u guys have seen the 2011 french film, Chicken with Plums. Its a very surreal take on depression and makes you feel like your in an abstract world.
I think you guys were a bit harsh with the film’s non-sequitur, but, overall, I agree.
Oh, and have you guys seen When We Leave? I’d love to hear what you think of it.
I need to disagree on both of your assessments on the Shining, that it’s scary. I think it has to do with the age and time period I saw it, versus how young and new both you guys and the film were. Everything has been spoiled to bits by now, so I knew everything going into it and wasn’t the least bit scared. And I love it! I could just soak in every camera movement (especially the movement with the ax swings), color choices, everything.
It’s such a beautiful film and I’m so glad I waited to see it because scary films usually do stick with me longer than I want (thank you, the Ring, for a week of unrest).
