Mr. Sardonicus

As they say, laugh and the world laughs with you. Dig up your father’s grave and you end up looking like Mr. Sardonicus. It’s not as popular a saying, but nevertheless you should join us on the old leather couch for this William Castle scare-fest — the first entry in our “Salute to B-movies”.
In Seen It, we talk about a few more Oscar noms: heroic pilots, troubled first ladies and bank-robbin’ brothers.

MR. SARDONICUS was one of the main movies I was traumatized by when I was 8 years old (THE BAD SEED was the other one). Now? Well, let’s put it this way: it’s one of those movies that terrified you as a kid, but you watch as an adult and wonder WTF it was about it that scared you so much, because it’s just generally SO BAD, yet still somewhat entertaining.
