Greetings from Iowa! My wife and I love the show, we’ve been watching since the Megaforce episode. We just made our first donation, hope it helps and Megaforce thumb-kisses to you gents! Also I have a ‘Seen-It!’ for you guys.
Have you seen the 1983 Michael Mann film ‘The Keep’? It’s a strange film featuring a young Ian McKellen (in old person makeup), ‘Das Boot’ actor Jurgen Prochnow, Scott Glenn, always fun to watch character actor Robert Prosky and a score by the German electronic group Tangerine Dream. In some respects this movie is a mess but it’s very captivating visually. It has an almost dream-like quality to it due to the soundtrack, some odd slow motion sequences and some really impressive smoke effects (most of the practical special effects aren’t bad either). I still really dig this movie despite some badly dated visual effects, muddled editing and an underwhelming final showdown. Would love to hear your guys’ thoughts on this film!
Thanks for such a great show and keep up the good work! We’ll keep watching!
Hey guys, recently discovered the show and I’m loving it! I’m curious to hear your thoughts on The Fifth Element — I really enjoyed it, but in retrospect I’m not really sure whether or not it was actually a good movie. Keep up the great work!
Might I direct you to the opening discussion of Episode 10 (Lost Highway) where I talk about my feelings towards The 5th Element.
